This site is a tribute to Peter Owen. He is much loved and will always be remembered. 

Peter lived a long and full life. Born in Waterperry, Oxfordshire where he and his siblings were raised in the family home. He later enrolled in the R.A.F. carrying out his service in Singapore and Hong Kong. Peter and his wife Edna married in 1978, he became stepfather to Ian and Julie Thatcher. He later became guardian to his grandson, Sam Curnick. He and Edna enjoyed a long and happy marriage, raising a multigenerational family.

Peter Owen was proud and hard working, providing for his family and loved ones through good and challenging times, always with full commitment and an ever present sense of humour.

Peter passed away peacefully on the 26th December 2022, at the age of 90. His final words were to express his love for his wife Edna.

He gave so much to all that knew him, a selfless and endlessly generous person who could always be relied upon. We miss him dearly.
